Last activity data incorrect

+2
−0

The "last activity" data on posts appears to be inaccurate. I just answered a question, but while the answer count shows my answer, the last activity data still refers to the time the question was asked.

I've noticed in the past that the last activity indicator on posts often seems to list activity by someone whose name appears nowhere in the question page. Not sure if there is a legitimate reason why that should be so.

I remember that on SO, you could click on that line and it would take you directly to the changed item, which was useful for seeing what changes have been made to an old question. That does not seem to work here.

Yeah. It's a known bug on the TODO list. We're currently trying to find out, what exactly happens there.

Other things that can cause activity are edits and closing/reopening. But yes, there's a bug here and we're trying to characterize it. Sometimes it's right and sometimes it's not.

Regarding edits, a part of the confusion there is probably because there's no visible indication on a post that it's been edited, the way there is on SE. It's in the history, but not on the question/answers page itself. @MonicaCellio
