Say I want to work on a game and, since I'm not very good at creating games yet, I want to work on the story first and foremost. Before I even want to commit to creating the game, I want to do get "beta readers" to read/"play" the story of the game first, without any of the actual gameplay. The gameplay itself simply consists of choices that mimic what you would do in the actual game, like "walk into left room", "try to open door", "inspect this item", etc. It's kinda like those early text based games.

That's just an idea I had on how to proceed with a "beta reading" phase for my game - I thought about using Twine for that. Are there other (maybe better) ways for players to "beta read" the story of your game?
