After reading the book `Of Mice and Men` from `John Steinbeck`, I realised that I saw this typical combination of a small bright guy with a big strong not so bright guy in many movies... Ex: The daltons of Lucky Luke... in which the biggest is the dumbest and the smallest is the smartest So do writers have sort of a database of typical psychological profile that they decide to use to write movies plots ? How do they mix them all together... I'm asking this because I want to watch movies differently... I'd like to be able, after identifying the psychological profile of the hero of the movie, to guess what type of other character could be introduced into the movie to make it go this way or that way... Please redirect my question to the correct forum if it should not be here...
