You've still got plenty of room to run. For example, _Elantris_, Brandon Sanderson's first novel, is around 200k words, and it doesn't feel too long at all; it's _big enough to tell the story being told._ It sounds like you're closer to the end than the beginning of the second act, so it's probably about time to _start_ closing your novel, but getting from the start to the end can still take a while. Focus on getting a good story written first and foremost; you'll have time to worry about the length and other details in revision.
