Known bug (kind of). I happened to be looking at the error logs as you did this, and I saw it pop up. There's some sort of bug in the process of sending mail - I have the server configured to send mail one way, but it ends up trying to send it differently; I'm not yet sure whether that's my bug or a bug in the mail library that Rails is using.
