[Strunk and White's _Elements of Style_](http://rads.stackoverflow.com/amzn/click/0205313426) gets a lot of love, although it's also been getting some [criticism](http://chronicle.com/article/50-Years-of-Stupid-Grammar/25497), lately. But it's more about style than pure grammar. I enjoyed _[Eats, Shoots and Leaves](http://rads.stackoverflow.com/amzn/click/159240488X)_, but it's not exactly a basic grammar book. It mostly focuses on punctuation. I also like the [Grammar Girl](http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_7?url=search-alias=stripbooks&field-keywords=grammar%20girl&sprefix=grammar) books, but again, by taking the time to make her lessons fun and interesting, she sacrifices some of the scope of her work, focusing in on fairly limited areas. What are the weaknesses in your writing, as far as you can tell? If it's straight-up grammar, you may have to resign yourself to working through some fairly dry material.
