Some students that I mentor have written a number of short stories that they want to publish now. I am totally new in this area. I did preliminary research which indicates that there are now a number of e-book platforms which cater for iphone or android markets. I have a hard time trying to figure out if they are mutually inclusive or exclusive. **Question 1:** What are the key factors to consider when choosing an ebook platform? **Question 2:** Can they publish one story at a time (on their own) or do we have to publish all stories (as in a collection of short stories)? **Question 3:** Do authors make money from ebooks, especially when the price is often around $0.49?
