Writing a punchy paragraph opening / beginning

+1
−0

I am writing a paper and always want to find ways to write a punch opening for my paragraph. I'm not sure how to take an informative paragraph and find an exciting lead-in that will encourage the reader to continue and maintain his interest.

Do you have some examples or suggestions on some previous experience of writing punchy openers?
