What started as a side project for indie developer Robert Topala (aka RobTop) turned into one of the most beloved indie arcade games ever. RobTop’s passion for gaming—sparked by childhood classics like Super Mario Bros.—was reignited in adulthood. From humble beginnings coding in his free time, to launching his studio RobTop Games, Geometry Dash was born in 2013 as a paid app with deceptively simple gameplay.
