Is writing three drafts really necessary? So I understand the first draft which is basically writing whatever comes to mind but I don't understand why we have to rewrite it three times. Do I need to have a degree to become a writer? I've always loved to write. Granted I haven't been writing very much these days because of university but I want to publish a book one day.
