Exclamations, I feel, are a good way to describe tone without actually writing the tone. But most of the time I end up (as per reviewers) with too many of exclamations. [Many](https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/11607/when-and-how-should-i-use-multiple-exclamation-marks) also say that too many exclamations resembles immature writing. So I am confused. Are exclamations wrong? NO! NO!!! NO?! No. No?! How many exclamations are too many?
