Comment Post #276135 I don't have delete privilege. Can you give it to me until I clean up, or would you prefer I flag them? I am fine with either choice.

Comment Post #276135 There are still a bunch of unrelated answers on those imports from ebooks. How do you want to handle them? I was thinking just delete the posts and import them again. But I don't know how much work that is.

Question How much does Amazon make on Royalties earned but not paid?
A recent answer here indicates Amazon has a pretty restrictive payment policy. So minor authors selling books in multiple countries could have hundreds of dollars due them that have not yet hit the 'threshold'. In the US there are rules about accounts considered inactive or unclaimed. But I am not ...

Answer A: Is there a way to publish an eBook, distribute it and the push updates to the distributed eBooks?
Most online publishers have a method to allow for updates to published ebooks. The user generally is given way to identify that a book has an update, then the user is given the option to re-download the work. I don't think any publisher has "push" to reader. So yes there is way to redistribute th...

Question Can I include code in .mobi to control the native voice synthesizer in a Kindle?
Some kindle models come with a text to speech software that has several optional settings. There is both male and female, as well as 3 speeds, which gives 6 different combinations. Question What is the difference between giving away my only print copy or my only electronic copy of a book?
The question If a book doesn't have DRM does that mean it is OK to give a copy to my friend to read? has answers implying that without permission there are legal and ethical hurdles in giving away a copy of an ebook. In the United States, there are stores selling used books, which are under copyrigh...

Question What is "Read an Ebook Week"?
I was just sitting down to start shopping at Smashwords, and found this listing. A quick look on line seems to indicate this is some kind of world wide deal. What is "Read an Ebook Week"? Where did it get started? What is in it for me? (looks like sales maybe?)

Answer A: Public domain search tools/websites
The internet archive https://archive.org/ lists both works they host as well as works in other libraries. Answer A: Anonymous publishing
If your work is going to be successful enough to make it cost effective to set up all the legal niceties of staying hidden. There is no possible way to guarantee you will keep your anonymity. Answer A: How do I publish a book permanently free on Amazon
You can have it permanently published for free at Smashwords. Amazon used to do price matching, and this used to be the way to publish your book for free at Amazon.
